By becoming an SJP Friend you will be helping SJP to schedule events throughout the year which educate, entertain and inspire musicians of all backgrounds in a variety of ways.  

  • As a Friend of Sligo Jazz Project you are helping fund the administration of a volunteer-run organisation set up to promote music education and audience building by hosting events of the highest possible calibre in the North West 's EU Gateway City, Sligo and its hinterland.
  • SJP is a member of Sligo Music Education Partnership, part of Sligo County Council's 5 year Arts plan and a member of the National Touring Consortium Soundings with many arts organizations including Improvised Music Company, Dublin.
  • Your patronage will also help in the promotion of world-class concert events in Sligo venues.
  • SJP's 2007 summer school was the biggest international music education event of its kind ever held in Ireland .
  • A list of SJP Friends will appear in concert venues at all SJP events and on selected promotional material.
  • Friends will get a website link if desired.
  • SJP Friends will receive two complimentary concert tickets to each SJP event during the summer festival and selected other events throughout the year, plus first priority purchase on extra tickets.
