SJP International Summer School is a unique festival of jazz, combining education, inspiration and entertainment for musicians of all ages. SJP is Ireland's biggest jazz summer school and includes a festival featuring line-up comprising mainly members of the SJP teaching faculty, all world class performers in their own right. As with all SJP events, SJP Students get free admission to all festival concerts. All faculty members give one masterclass and two ensemble sessions each day and give up to 2 live performances during the week. The summer school is very performance oriented and participants spend quite a lot of the week playing. The week culminates with a marathon Sunday afternoon concert featuring all participating jazz students.
